Terms of Use
1. Parties
These terms are between the person who downloads the app and the developer, Sezer Kuşku. Apple is not a party to this agreement; it only distributes the app and is not responsible for maintenance, support or claims relating to it. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. Personal use
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app, or abuse the service (for example by faking XP, manipulating rankings or collecting “You’re here” stamps with a spoofed location).
3. Accuracy of content
The catalog is based on UNESCO and Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism sources and prepared with care; still, historical facts, locations, opening status or visiting conditions may be wrong or out of date. Verify with official sources before you travel. Photographs come from sources such as Wikimedia Commons under their own licences and credits.
A “nearby site” notification only tells you that a city is within about 25 km, and the “You’re here” notification, banner and mode only indicate that your position is near a site. None of them means that the site is open, accessible or safe, or that you are allowed to enter it. The map and the positions of structures in “You’re here” mode are approximate and are not directions. Do not interact with the app while driving; do not enter closed, protected or off-limits areas, do not leave marked paths, and follow the rules of the site and the instructions of its staff.
4. Account, nickname and moderation
An account is optional. Your nickname may not be offensive, abusive or hateful, may not look official or misleading (for example “admin”, “support”) and may not impersonate anyone. You can report or block a player by pressing and holding their name in the league list, and remove or block someone on your friends list the same way. A player you block appears without a name in your rankings, any friendship between you ends and neither of you can add the other again; the blocked person is not notified. Blocking is separate from reporting and can be undone from the Blocked players list on the Friends screen. Nicknames are filtered for inappropriate words; after three separate reports a nickname may be reset automatically, and inappropriate names or cheating may be hidden through moderation. We may remove accounts from rankings or terminate them for violating these terms. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
Visitor photos (applies once submission is switched on)
If you are signed in, you can send Antigone one of your visit photos. Send only photos you took yourself and hold the rights to. Do not send photos of identifiable people without their consent. You may not send content that is abusive, hateful, violent, sexual, misleading, promotional or that infringes anyone's rights; there is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. By sending a photo you grant Antigone a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, non-sublicensable licence to show it in the app and on its website under your nickname; you keep ownership. You can withdraw the licence at any time by writing to us, and we will remove the photo within a reasonable time. Every photo is reviewed by hand before it is published; we may reject or remove any photo without giving a reason. You can report a published photo with the “Report” button in the app or by writing to [email protected]; we review reports within 24 hours. We remove the submissions of users who break these rules, revoke their ability to submit, or terminate their account.

6. Antigone Plus subscription
The core of Antigone is free: the catalog, the map, the Road lessons, the league, friends, cloud backup and “You’re here” mode require no payment. In the free version you can add up to 3 different cities to your passport and up to 5 cities to your Expedition route; adding a new visit to a city already in your passport is always free. Antigone Plus is an optional paid subscription that unlocks: an unlimited passport (and with it, all the badges earned through visits), field files for selected cities, offline city packs, the Road's review deck, an unlimited Expedition and four extra backgrounds for share cards. The current contents of Plus and the limits of the free version are shown on the Plus page in the app before you buy. They may change over time; a change will not reduce what Plus gives you during a subscription period you have already paid for.
- Subscription and price. Plus is an auto-renewing subscription bought on the App Store with your Apple ID. Monthly and annual plans are offered. The current price, in your country's currency and including taxes, is shown in the app and on the App Store before you buy.
- Free trial. For eligible users, the annual plan may start with a free trial; the length of the trial is shown on the purchase screen. Apple allows an introductory offer once per Apple ID for each subscription. Unless you cancel, the trial converts into a paid annual subscription when it ends, and the annual price is charged to your Apple ID. If you do not want to be charged, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. If you purchase a subscription during a free trial, the rest of the trial ends.
- Payment and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase (for a plan with a trial, when the trial ends). The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. If the price changes, Apple will inform you in advance and ask for your consent where required.
- Cancelling and managing. You can manage and cancel the subscription in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or on your account page in the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; Plus stays active until then. Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Account and restoring. You need to sign in to Antigone to buy or restore Plus; the subscription is tied to that account and is active on every device where you sign in with it. On a new device or after reinstalling, you can restore the subscription of the same Apple ID to your account with “Restore purchases” on the Plus page. Plus is personal; you may not share your account with others.
- Refunds. Payments and refunds are handled by Apple; refund requests go to Apple. Your mandatory consumer rights, including the right of withdrawal in the European Union, are unaffected.
- When Plus ends. Plus features close and field-file copies on the device are deleted. None of your records is deleted or locked: the cities in your passport and your Expedition route stay as they are; you just cannot add new cities beyond the free limit. The photos of city packs you downloaded stay on your device; downloading new packs, using the review deck and choosing the extra card backgrounds require Plus again.
7. Limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from use of the app or errors in its content; no promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation is made. Mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
8. Changes and termination
If these terms change, the current text will be published at this address. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app; you may delete your account first.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your statutory rights as a consumer to apply to competent authorities are unaffected.
