Delete your account
Delete it in the app
- Open Antigone and go to the Explorer tab at the bottom.
- Scroll to the very bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete permanently. If you like, tap Export my data first to keep a copy.
Deletion happens at once and cannot be undone. If something goes wrong (for example, you are offline), your account is not deleted and the app asks you to try again.
Using the app without an account? Your data stays on your device only. Erase data on this device, in the same place, removes it; uninstalling the app does too.
If you cannot open the app
Write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account and include your nickname. We confirm who you are from the email on the account, delete the account and let you know by email once it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account, nickname and sign-in details (including your email address)
- Your XP, league history and place in the rankings
- Your friendships, your invite code and the card shown to your friends
- Your list of blocked players and the reports you made
- City suggestions you sent
- Visitor photos you sent and the reports about them (when that feature is switched on)
- Your cloud backup: your visits, notes, stamps and progress
- Your Plus entitlement record and your customer record at RevenueCat, our subscription service
What is kept
- The archive on your device. Even after you delete your account, the records on your device remain as a guest archive. To remove them too, use “Erase data on this device” above or uninstall the app.
- A technical log line. The outcome of the deletion (the account ID and whether it succeeded) may be written as one line to our hosting provider’s log. That line is deleted automatically when the provider’s limited retention period ends and is used for nothing else.
- Measurement data not linked to your account. We collect crash reports and anonymous usage data only if you allow it. They are not linked to your account; crash reports are kept for at most 90 days and anonymous usage data for at most 12 months, then deleted.
- Store and advertising records. Deleting your account does not remove Google Play’s purchase records or the advertising-related data Google holds; Google keeps these under its own policy. Antigone neither receives nor stores them.
About subscriptions
Deleting your account does not end a Plus subscription. To stop billing, cancel it in the store where you bought it: on Google Play, Play Store > profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions; on the App Store, Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions.
