Rusahinili Eiduru-kai
On a hill 250 m above Lake Van, north-west of Ayanis village and 35 km from Van, this fortress was built, according to its cuneiform inscription, by Rusa son of Argishti in 645–643 BC. Ringed by two walls, it has a pillared hall and a temple in its upper part, and its buildings and finds shed light on the last years of the Urartian kingdom.
